The world of Christmas

Jarrod often speaks of the Omniplex and there Christmas around the World showing of trees from all over. Julie talks about working with her students with the Christmas around the World. I, honestly can't remember ever studying different cultures ways of celebrating Christmas. Growing up in a small town. I didn't even know that, not all people celebrate Easter until I was about 9 yrs old.
After listening to stories, and discovering my love for traditions and others beliefs. I decided to study Christmas around the world at the age of 24, when I may be able to remember them and try to do things from other cultures..introduce old traditions into a new family.

In Yugoslavia they bake coins into a cake as a lucky tradition, pinatas are broken in Mexico on Christmas day, Italians read poetry... all of which I'd like to try. I think that maybe next year, I will have an awesome non Traditional Traditions Xmas party. Each day I will read more and get back to you on this subject

find a Christmas carol troupe to join
make farolitos to set on sidewalk
It seems I'm always full of unfinished ideas...here we have one that I never got around to.
it seems however that santas.net is awesome for this
