So, little Niagara is located in Sulfur Oklahoma, named for the smell and obvious sulfur from the spring and surrounding area.
You can't actually camp there but the Recreation Area has several miles of camping areas and take hiking trips to explore the creek and get to little Niagara and actually swim in the freezing cold water.
I loved it. It was very different :the mundane camping and the society camping, I had my purse, tent, bedding and air mattress- a drastic reduction to what I generally bring, even for an overnight camping. It was gorgeous, HOT but gorgeous. Watching the Bison graze, witnessing a
lovely butterfly land not even a hands length away from me and
being able to witness the fertility of the land, the ripening of the fruit tree, it was a wonderful get away from what is hustle of everyday life
