I convinced my boyfriend yet again to help me do a thing on my list of a million things to do . It was the worldwide Geocaching scavenger hunt. Only we decided to walk seeing as there were quite a few in our local area, our local area ended up taking us on a 3 mile walk. with a stop at Walgreens and Mcdonalds for the baby in the stroller.

When I say Mcdonalds, I don't mean he got a kids meal. I mean the 3 of us shared a 10 piece and fries. Dresdyn eats what I do so I don't feel bad letting him indulge when I do, although I don't go overboard. Mostly we went to play in there playplace so he could grab some social interaction. We ended up finding only 2 of the 3 that we were looking for but we ended up getting a wonderful exercise out of it.

It's A- Z in sewing time

My addiction to Reddit has become immense and I find myself hitting the random button so I can find new subreddits. I came across sewit today, and a girl had an a/z sewing blog this month. I'm not a great sewer so I am giving myself more time, even though i'm not a student, or have a job, I think an 18 month old child who gets into everything will slow me down a great deal, so for now i'm going to list the projects I want to try and then go about finding patterns and making them

A- start simple and easy with Apron

B- get more complex with a Bellydance outfit

C-back to what looks to be a hopefully quick project of a Coffee Cup Sleeve

D- the fun childrens costuming Dino Tails

it's time to start a garden

It's been forever since I've done any form of digging in the dirt. We were chatting one day and decided that we wanted a garden, which meant I got play in the flower garden. it's never been my goal to complete most of my goals with a significant other, it turns out with Jeremy that's what I've started to do, and I know as he gets older... Dresdyn will be involved.

I'm not sure how well I will be at starting a garden considering the 3 plants I bought last month, only 1 is still alive. I will try however. I want to succeed in creating life, not take it away

Here's to you my child...

I never knew how much I wanted to tell my daughter I never had until I started taking pen to paper. One of the many numerous items on this list is to write a decedent, however I don't have one. One day I will though, and she will know how much I've wanted her, how much I love her brother and father and how much I will always love her. I started the letter last night and it took a good few hours before I quit, yet there is still more in my story I wish to tell.

One day I'll get it figured out

The birds have a new home :)

I've started making it a point to try to do at least one thing on my list every day and write about it.

One thing was to paint a birdhouse. It did not take long considering that this birdhouse only needed repainted.

Jeremy's grandfather built this for his family several years back, and I found it in disrepair, after hours of cleaning and sanding it was able to be repainted.

With the help of Jeremy, we repainted it to it's original colors. In a few days I shall figure out where it can go in my garden, somewhere I think. I love being a homemaker.

Once upon a time. I lived in Norman Oklahoma with a roommate who hated people. She did however like crafts, and history

A lucet was used by the Norse people to braid just about anything. it was used to make rope, braid hair, and belts.

One day We were walking around the duck pond when we saw several twigs around. " this would make a good lucet" I remember her saying. I then proceeded to ask her what a lucet was and how it was used. We ended up making one and I spent the better part of a week learning how to use it...that is until the little boy living in the apartment downstairs took off with it and never gave it back. It's been my goal for several months now to make a new one.

I finally got the chance after taking Dresdyn on a walk and finding a twig that would be perfect. and here is my final project. :) all in a days work.

Now, if only I can get myself to use it

It seems things I never thought I would ever do come into play more and more now that I have a man that I want to experience them with, never has it seemed more true(or more corny). Today was the first time I've ever given anyone a haircut. thankfully it was with a hair razor. Never before have I ever thought that would be possible. It didn't turn out so badly though. There's a first time for everything

One of the rare "spending time with my mama" moments that I remember involves a tennis court on the back end of my small school gymnasium, in which she attempted to learn how to play tennis with us.

I've never been very good at tennis, physically, my body doesn't seem to be made for it. I'm short, top heavy, and too out of shape to move swiftly. Also I hit like I'm playing softball. However, it's always been a bit of nostalgia picking up a racket.

A few months ago my boyfriend mentioned wanting to play tennis. I said I'd be up for it,(mostly because of the fact that he'd never really played before and I wouldn't feel as bad showing my awful abilities), I also assumed that it was another one of his "we should do this" passing thoughts.

However, to make me happy he takes me to random thrift stores in which I'm allowed to roam through aisles of books, shoes, and various other items people have donated to most likely " get rid of". I enjoy knowing that someone other than me once enjoyed an object that I hold in my hand. It's not like pawn shops in which I feel people are reluctantly facing no option other than to sale an object.....

99c Each. It was the best investment ever. Both are in fairly good condition and, even though it took us well over 30 minutes just to find a park around us that had tennis courts once we did it was a good 1hr workout that I'm quite sure will be repeated often.

Perhaps today I can convince him to go out even.

The Colorado Kid

Steven King had another book converted into a sci fi television series. It was called the Haven. I very much enjoyed the television series, with it's absurd plots. However, the show being roughly based on the book is an understatement. The book was definitely an unsolved mystery. It was also very drab. Not many books of his have I felt that I wish I hadn't wasted my time on. This one I have.

I'm a huge fan of unsolved mysteries but this was just not my cup of tea, oh well, we can't like everything

Yay for Awesomeness of BOYFRIENDS!!!

I've found the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. I thought that person was Jarrod, but obviously I was wrong about that. This guy actually loves me. He has a son, and parents who adore him. We've taken random trips- He loves to travel, we've gone to music shows, thrift stores, walks in the park. He also reads to me, cooks for me, takes care of me. I've never once thought that I could be this happy without a job. My late Christmas gift just happened to be the one that I've coveted for a very long time.

Finally I own an xbox 360! and a kinect, which I have used almost religiously everyday for the past week. Hopefully it will help accomplish several other goals such as the losing weight, getting into better shape, and living life instead of just existing.

It's not always rainbows and sunshine. We fight, I cry, he gets mad..it's a roundabout cycle but we work on trying to work it out. He doesn't just get up and leave. He's here for me and as long as he always is I'm never going anywhere

this will be a project that I very much want to try.

I have decided to try to find some boots for this project and haven't really started gathering supplies yet. This project may take awhile to accomplish
